Inspiring the Next Generation in "Long Island's Best" 2020
My solo exhibition, "A Brush with HerStory" at The Heckscher Museum of Art was included
in a selection of four exhibitions at The Heckscher Museum of Art, that Long Island High School students could choose from to create their own original works for the juried exhibition held at the Heckscher Museum "Long Island's Best". Now in its 24th year, the exhibition features exceptional works of art created by high school students from Long Island. 100 winning works were selected by Heckscher Museum curator, Karli Wurzelbacher and guest judge Nancy Richer, from 388 students and 58 High Schools.
Congratulations to all! Thank you for this great gift, I LOVE all the work created by these young artists. I hope they inspire the next generation.
