MY ART IS ABOUT LOOKING BENEATH THE SURFACE AND FINDING HIDDEN METAPHORS. METAPHORS OF AN ERA LONG GONE. I PAY HOMAGE TO THIS FORGOTTEN HISTORY AND THE EXTRAORDINARY LESSONS IT CAN TEACH.
